A common (and often-times fatal) mistake of convention organizers is expanding their market reach beyond the capabilities of its organization. It places unreasonable expectations on its staff, most of which are volunteers. This puts undue stress on the staff and as a result, the event suffers, lessening the attendees’ experience and high attrition from event staff.

A FOCUS ON PASSION AND LEADERSHIP
As most comic and anime conventions struggle with high turnover from staff, con chairs, and volunteers, Fandom Events strives to provide one-on-one training, education, and opportunities to follow passion. This allows Fandom Events to have an extremely low turnover rate. This ensures a continuity of workmanship and strong team-building environment including mentorships and internships with local universities such as West Texas A&M, Texas Tech, University of North Texas,OU, OSU, Colleen College, Angelo State University, and Oklahoma City College.
